Big thing for me is that this is not a folding stool. The way you make it flat is you detach the legs and there are notches that allow the legs and top to fit together. This is how it comes shipped as well. I don’t find that to be terrible enough to send back but I really wanted a folding one so I could stow it away in one piece vs having 3 pieces because I’m lazy, so 1 star off.It does it’s job tho. It’s tall enough to let me plant my feet on it and at a good angle that doesn’t force me to hug my knees, the nonstick feet keep it from sliding, it feels quite sturdy even tho it’s plastic, and there’s a little place to put a jar of gel smelling stuff in it.

Used it for it’s intended purpose and it does help. It is out of the way when not needed, a very good idea is the folding legs. It fits neatly on the side of my toilet. The price was right for a sturdy stool. I do recommend this product .
